Introduction 

In June 2012, PNE WIND UK, in consultation with Scottish Borders Council, agreed to make an amendment to the planning application for the proposed Brunta Hill Wind Farm, located approximately 3.5km north-west of Westruther in the Scottish Borders. The Brunta Hill Wind Farm planning application was submitted to Scottish Borders Council in October 2011 and is currently awaiting a planning determination.

PNE has created a Community Liaison Group (CLG)  to ensure that the proposed development involves local people and takes account of their concerns.
