Penbreck Wind Farm Turbines Approved

South Lanarkshire's Planning Committee has today unanimously agreed to approve the erection of 6 turbines on a site south east of Muirkirk located within the local authority area of South Lanarkshire. A further 3 turbines sited in East Ayrshire will be considered in a separate application.

The Penbreck Wind Farm's turbines will have a maximum tip height of 125m each, with an installed capacity of 3MW and the potential output of the site is 27MW.
