Larbrax Wind Farm Proposals on Display

Edinburgh based renewable energy company, PNE WIND UK, has announced it will be hosting two public consultation exhibitions in Portpatrick and Leswalt on the 2nd and 3rd of December- providing local residents with another opportunity to review and comment on proposals to develop Larbrax Wind Farm, on the Rhins Peninsula.

Members of the local community are invited to attend the drop-in exhibitions, where they will be able to meet the PNE team, view a 3D computer generated model and learn how the plans have progressed since the previous exhibitions in May 2013.

Katherine Newlands, Communications Manager for PNE WIND UK, commented:

"PNE WIND UK is delighted to be moving forward with our plans to develop Larbrax Wind Farm. Since our first public exhibitions earlier this year, we have been working closely with the local community regarding our proposals and have progressed with our environmental and visual assessments of the site.

"I look forward to welcoming local residents to the exhibition and hearing their views on our updated plans prior to submitting our application to Dumfries and Galloway Council. We would encourage anyone with an interest to come along, meet members of the team and learn about the benefits that Larbrax Wind Farm can bring to the local area."

The PNE public exhibitions will be taking place on:

Monday 2 December, 4pm-8pm

Portpatrick Village Hall

The Harbour

Tuesday 3 December, 4pm-8pm

Main Hall

Leswalt Primary School
